What a cool animal and awesome picture! How handy is that…to have a great photographer on all your trips. You must pay him well!

I just read about your journey trough 52 zoos in 52 weeks in a Brazilian newspaper and about your plans to write a book about that. Please do it. It will be great share with my kids (i have 3 also) your story and experience in this tour.

No fair. How come the animals do all the cool things when you guys go to the zoo, and the uncool things when we visit the zoo (i.e. sleep somewhere really random so you can’t even find them right away).
Finish writing your book, and then charge $150 per two hours at the Cbus Zoo as a tour guide.
That picture makes me want to go on a diet. Isn’t that pathetic? That’s how big and pregnant I am. I see a picture of some freakishly thin wild animal and think of my ever expanding round belly and swollen ankles. Oh dear.
The balance that animal has! Wow!
That picture? My life at the moment. And I’m not even recovering from (or in the midst of?) a media whirlwind surrounding a project about which I am passionate. Fantastic shot, Gabe! Perfect word picture, Marla.
