can you say “can of worms”….

Wow. Okay, yesterday I asked friends, friends of friends, friends of friends of friends…to fill out a survey about in-laws. Oh my. Sixteen of you have already responded. And your answers were amazing. You are a very thoughtful, sweet, strongly-opinionated, volatile group! Thank you for your honesty–especially those of you who know that I know your in-laws. I appreciate your trust in me to keep your true feelings hidden (although there will be a chapter in the book on the importance of communicating openly–to a certain extent)

I would love to have 50 surveys by July 1st, so if you know any more engaged/young married women, point them my way! http://www.taviano.com/survey

I must share the most adorable picture ever. Click here
(Not the plane, the second pic)

I am getting better at running lots of errands with three kids. Do not know how people manage with 4+.

That’s all for now! Have an awesome Flag Day Eve!

OH!! okay…i was confused a little…because i did see that it said it didn’t come out til december…but then i thought you had early copies or whatever…

no big deal….i will definitely give away the one you sent. (eh, maybe I’ll read it again for kicks! break in a new copy ;-)…not really…) but, i already know exactly who i’m going to give it to!

if you have a copy of your 2001 book,I’ll take one….but don’t feel like you have to give me something else free!! 🙂

and…i’ll just wait til your rough drafts come out in print. 🙂

okay, so i think there’s been a bit of a misunderstanding…you put blushing as your book choice on the survey (the one you already read!) the sex book doesn’t come out until December! I sent you blushing, so you could give it away to someone else. so sorry to have misled you! i can send you a rough draft of something to read, lol. Actually, I self-published a book in 2001. (not too thrilling–i don’t tell many people about it) Do you want a copy? I have 6 left. 🙂

speaking of long comments: I saw one on someone’s site a few weeks ago that had to have been a 10 page paper copied and pasted. At least. It was ridiculously LONG.

I forgot about you moving…oops! 🙂 But, yeah…check out her website & let me know what you think of your Show of Hands. 🙂
I LOVE how it smells!! YUM!

Thanks for the free book…I can’t wait for it to get here! Just in time for another weekend of reading and foot soaking….aaaahhh. 🙂

If you would have picked another book, I was just going to tell you it was a thank you for the blog you wrote yesterday. 🙂 As my unofficial official promoter, you will always get free copies of any book I write. And you can absolutely fill out another survey. I keep thinking of questions I wish I would have added.

Just got my beauticontrol–can’t wait to try it. I’d better not do a spa party just yet–we’re moving next month and I never know when people are coming to look at the house. HOWEVER, I will check out the site and may order something through your mom.

Is there a word limit for blog comments before you should just write the person an e-mail or pick up the phone? 🙂

HA!!! that’s funny. 🙂 I wondered how you got it in the mail so fast if it was, in fact, the one from the survey.

what if i would have picked the other one?? i really did have a hard time deciding…but i figured i would pick the one that was already written & wait for the new one to be written & get it when it came out.

YAY!! More reading material!! 🙂 HAPPY!

(your beauticontol is in the mail, too…and I was thinking…you aren’t all that far away………..wanna have a spa party? just an idea…….you’re allowed to say no. (i’m not a very good salesperson…salespeople shouldn’t say that.)

can i fill out another survey? I thought of more things to add.
and i tried my spark today. 🙂 I think i feel a little more energized & it tasted pretty good, too. I don’t think i could drink it every day though.

also i do remember one thing I wanted to say about your book!! the part about p31 reminded me of my sister-in-law’s great thinking process. 🙂 🙂 (she’s a smart one, i tell ya!) She said she was thinking about it, and feeling complainy about not having servants, and then she thought, “Wait! I do have servants! I have a dish washer, and a washer & dryer!” so now she considers them her servants. 😉 I thought that was cute & couldn’t not share it with you. 🙂

yeah…well, for the last 1/2 of my survey, both babies woke up & I was trying to finish it before I went in to get them…and they weren’t too happy by the end…so i hope it makes sense. 🙂

awww, i’m glad you liked the picture!  we do make a cute couple, don’t we?  🙂

thank you so much for the book!  i got it in the mail over the weekend, and i’m so excited to start reading it!  oh, and i’m going to start your survey right now.

    have a great day!
