Hmm...a few years back, I was "Quantum Leap". So named after the show (which I used to lurve), and after my conversational style. My husband would tell me that I made quantum leaps from here to there...Then, I wrote under the name "Good Enough for Now." I probably would've stayed under that blog, but my son broke in and read all my posts (some very personal), and so I deleted that blog and started Jewels in My Crown Someday. Guess I like that one the best, anyway. Third time's the charm.

When I started my blog, I knew I wanted to incorporate my life verse which is Jeremiah 29:11. But when I began thinking up names, "a hope and a future" etc., they were all taken. So I began brainstorming (do your girls watch Imagination Movers? sorry, easily distracted!) and I came up with the 2911 Promise.

ssshhhh....don't tell anyone, I'm substitute teaching and during my break I love to read some blogs but since the school has blocked anything with 'blogspot' in the address, I <3 blogs that are dot coms!!!

Hmm...I do have a blog. I don't really know if I LOVE it's name, but it's the best thing I could think of. I didn't want to use my own name in the title..and I don't have kids. So, I just decided to go with my age range.

The blog is www.thirtycanwait.blogspot.com and the tagline is Thoughts from a Twenty-Something.

What I want more than anything is just a little update on the blog design...hope that comes one day in the next few months!

Mine is Treasures In Terra Cotta
Because I beat my head against the creative wall and finally asked God and he gave me this!
Terra Cotta is appropriate for this Arizona-girl
God is constantly reminding me that me made me exactly the way he wants me...on purpose! A treasure. A Jar of Clay.
(Can I really consider myself a blogger if I only make a post a couple times a month!?!)

My blog name is Spicy Magnolia...the title being one of the hardest things about the blog to decide on, and actually my hubby came up with it. He knew my flare for spiciness (food and personality) and my love for magnolias (some for sentimental reasons and because of my southern belle-ness). :)

This was a fun post!

My blog originally started out as Joy's Little Soapbox, but I quickly decided that ranting about my pet peeves was NOT the direction I wanted to go in. God began molding me and reshaping the pridefully-warped heart inside, and my spiritual journey took a turn into an extended period of struggle. So my blog became "Joy in the Journey" with the intentional double-entendre of my name and my search to find joy no matter how difficult or painful the journey got. It isn't really cutesy, but that is what I write and where God has me.

I love your scrabble pieces and notebook look. All you need now is a purple pen!

Thanks for the link! My blog name is a work in progress, just like me. The actual name comes from my favorite C.S. Lewis quote, "Every day you grow you will find me bigger." And that's true-God is so big, and I am learning how big in new ways every single day. I feel like I haven't developed the title well, but I will eventually. The computer is not my friend lately!

I'd read your blog no matter what you call it!

My blog's named Surrounded by Testosterone. I am a married mom of three boys and one male dog, so there is no other estrogen in my household. When I started my blog, I was so excited that I came up with this. I'm not one of the most creative people out there, but I thought it was fun!

I actually knew the word "perspicuous" before (but am still not positive of how to pronounce it), and I actually knew it because of a theology class I took in college. :)

One of the characteristics of the Bible that I learned in the class is that in addition to being inerrant, effective, and inspired by God, Scripture is also "perspicuous!" Kind of an ironic way (since the word itself seems so complicated) to say that the Bible is clear and meant to be understood.

Even though we may be confused by it, the Bible is not meant to be mysterious, nor does it have some hidden meaning (I'm thinking of that book The Bible Code that came out a number of years ago).

Just something to think about...

...and for what it's worth, although I rarely leave a comment here, I enjoy reading your blog and appreciate that your mind jumps around as much as mine does! :)
