There are four Sundays in February, and here’s how they’ll go:
I’ll link to the previous week’s Real. Hard. Love. posts.
Then I’ll link to some good stuff I read this week (that’s related in some way to Real. Hard. Love.).
Then I’ll share a verse that has something to do with Real. Hard. Love.
Then I’ll give you a heads-up about the Real. Hard. Love. posts in the week to come.
Sense a theme?
1. last week’s posts.
2. links to good stuff.
3. a verse to meditate on.
4. coming this week.
Last Week:
Friday: some hard stuff Gabe and I have been through this year.
Saturday: the far-reaching effects of abortion (about grace, not condemnation).
Good Stuff:
*My friend Becca is pouring herself out in a hard, hard neighborhood. So inspiring.
*A beautiful reminder to pro-lifers that the Jesus-response to abortion is love and grace.
*So, you’re feeling too fat to be photographed? (I love this so much.)
*This is what Jesus would have done.
If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate.
If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump, and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing.
If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (Message)
Next Week:
Monday: resources to help your struggling marriage.
Tuesday-Thursday: a friend shares the devastation of an affair.
Friday: giving away something fun.
Saturday: tba.
See you tomorrow, friends!

Loved the posts you linked to, Marla!
“I knew how Christians talked about women who had abortions. I simply could not bear it. ”
Woo…! That is hard to hear, but a something that I’m more aware of now than I was a few years ago and am trying to LEARN to be more sensitive about.
