short post. really.

I got ^ this book ^ from the library last night, and I’m devouring it. This zoo thing is so much fun. I’ve even decided to wash dishes by hand for awhile longer, because I’d rather go see a zoo than replace our dishwasher.

We’re tentatively planning a 4-day whirlwind tour before the girls start school. Akron Zoo, Cleveland Zoo, Erie Zoo, Pittsburgh Zoo. Woohoo!

I’m also reading C.J. Mahaney’s Living the Cross Centered Life. It’s a very powerful little book. I highly recommend it. At the very least, I’d like to read it every Easter. And Christmas. And…

We went geo-caching and hiking last night. Fun times.

Gabe has a client coming from Dayton in a couple hours. I need to find a place for us to go. Library maybe.

I have a phone appointment at 3:00 with the PR person who is doing my campaign for Expectant Prayers (that scholarship I won). I’m trying to get excited about it, but it’s going to take a lot of work, and right now, I’m all about zoos. 🙂 And sad that the book won’t be released until January when all of you are done being preggo! Sometimes I wish I could just write (and not all the other stuff that goes with it). Kind of how I felt about teaching. And life.

Gabe and the girls are picking his mom up from the airport this afternoon. And she offered to keep the girls for a few hours while we go on another date! We’ll try to do better this time. I need to go back and look at all your ideas.

My friend Brandi is keeping her give-away open until Friday. I’ve been reading the comments, and they’re making me laugh. Especially the ones that specify why someone “needs” Is That All He Thinks About?

Have a great day!!

So…was the drive to our house too daunting?

What is geo-caching? Is it what my boys used to do: pick up interesting crap(like a dog jawbone ) and keep it forever???
