short and sweet

You know you want one of these LUSH bags. My friend Camille just added this to her long list of great products you can buy when she photographs your family. I’m drooling.

My baby has kindergarten graduation tomorrow afternoon. I’m feeling weepy already. At least it’s my oldest and not my youngest that’s graduating, but still.

I now have 83 surveys. Enough great stuff for at least two books. Feel free to keep ’em coming until I get to 100. My contract negotiations are just about worked out, and I’ll be signing on the dotted line soon. Thanks again for opening up and sharing from your hearts in these surveys. I’ve added several of you to my prayer list for various reasons, and I’m going to try to be faithful to pray for you often.

I just got off the phone with Nixie in Oz. She calls every couple weeks to “see how I’m going.” She’s a hoot. Love you, Nixie!

The girls and I watched Freaky Friday with Jodie Foster yesterday. Ava begged to watch it again today while Livi was at school. I used to absolutely love that movie. It’s got some great quote-able lines. (No. I never will again, Bill dear.) Never mind.

Well, I don’t know about sweet, but at least it was (relatively) short. Have a great (not freaky) Friday!

Hi, Marla! Thanks for the sweet post! You are too kind!

I just updated my xanga blog with a pic of my own bag with my own kids, if anyone wants to see.

I’m SO glad to hear that other moms nibble their children – I thought it was just me. I LOVE my kids’ toes.

Eating your children (when they are small and adorable) is a requirement. DeWayne and I both have nibbled on their succulent little baby sides and toes.

I am just repeating here but….love that bag!!  You may have the grandma’s wrestling you for it!

I feel lost here…I’ve never seen Freaky Friday.

    Have a good weekend!

    Yeah, “lush” is addicting.
No, I don’t own the bag. My friend does, and I’m hoping she’ll get sick of it soon.
I did explain a lot of the movie, but after awhile, they got it.
I liked the Lindsey Lohan version of FF, but I can’t remember if there’s language/adult themes, etc. The older versions of everything are so much safer.
I completely understand needing to eat your children. You can only squeeze and kiss so much. Then you have to eat them.

I love, love, love that bag!  How adorable!  I’ve never seen the Jodie Foster Freaky  Friday.  Can I even find it anywhere?  Oh and the check is in the mail.  Also, hang on there tight, dear, my baby graduates Sunday night.  I can’t believe how fast time has flown by.  It seems like yesterday I was taking care of two little babies!

So, do you actually own the bag, or is your friend just using your girls as an example? What if someone thinks they’re so cute they try to BUY them???

Did Livi and Ava understand the concept of the movie or did you have to explain a lot?

I love the way “lush” has creeped into everyone’s vocabulary. I have to agree with the consensus that Nina’s face is adorable (as are her sisters, of course!) but Nina just makes you want to take a bite out of her cheeks!

Nina’s face is too cute on that bag!

I don’t think I have ever seen the Jodie Foster version of Freaky Friday. I’ve seen the Lindsey Lohan version, but I have a feeling the original is probably better.

What a great picture of your girls on that bag! Emma, my middle child, will be graduating from kindergarten on June 20th… I can’t believe how fast the school year went!

Glad things are coming together for the next book!

Isn’t it fun to watch movies with our children?  I like to take a movie like that and have them watch the newer one and then break out the old one for them to watch.
