Whew. What a crazy fun time at the beach. I miss my family, but it’s good to be home. Too bad I have a nasty caffeine headache from drinking coffee every day and then stopping cold turkey today.
September 2007 is shaping up to be the most stressful month of my life thus far, and I’m not feeling up to the task. Livi and Ava starting school, four soccer games a week, AWANA starting back up, McGraw-Hill project starting/ending, book manuscript due October 1st, out-of-town guests, dentist appts, making room in my house for 2,400 copies of Blushing, catching up on life after vacation…
I started a delicious book this week called The Rest of God, and I’m so excited to put some of the things I’m learning into practice. But September is in my way. I would so appreciate your prayers this coming month. Then you could take a month off. I don’t anticipate needing any help in October. (again, being sarcastic, for you slower ones)
I’ll blog about our vacation early next week. It was really, really wonderful. So much bonding and fun. I have warm, tingly memories that I’ll carry with me for always. And despite a nightmarish family photo shoot, we have some great pics of the week.
I have so many e-mails and messages to reply to–please be patient with me! Let me pay the bills and unpack our junk, and I’ll be right with you! (if anyone else wants to order Blushing books, please do it by the 31st or message me for an extension)
I missed you guys! It’s good to be back!
