happy independence!

A huge thank-you to everyone who has sacrificed so much so that we could live in country that is FREE. My mind and heart get so overwhelmed at talk of politics and government, and I mostly want to crawl in a hole over it. But I don’t ever want to forget how blessed we are and that we owe so much to the men and women who have sacrificed time and family and even their very lives for us. Wow. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Off to Bible study in a bit. Then home for a quick lunch and off to Mom and Dad’s for some Family Fun. Everyone will be there but Steph and Daniel (and of course, Kelly) . We’ll miss you guys!

I’ll be home tomorrow with no big plans, so I’ll try to post some links to my favorite blogs. Then you guys can meet some of the special people I’ve gotten to know in the past year.

Have a wonderful day!

Hi! I’m just so thrilled to find your blog! I read about your books on a blog awhile ago, and ordered all three, and am through two of them (I’ve been reading the diapers book every day while I nurse my baby 🙂 .. anyways, I was just thinking I wish I could read your blog, since you talked about it quite a bit, and I just managed to find it, and was pleased as punch when I discovered it was a Xanga, what I have!! And I also discovered that one of my friends on Xanga (Kristen) is your friend as well. How cool! So anyways, sorry for all the rambling, but just wanted to drop by and introduce myself (my name is Melissa, by the way!) .. and also to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your books. I think my husband would probably like to thank you too, hehe. I can guarantee I will be reading them often in the future!

I hope you all have a wonderful fourth together.  We don’t have any plans other than spending the day as a family.  We went down to OSU tonight and caught Red, White and Boom.  We parked at the med center (Sonny’s a Pharmacy Student) so we missed out on the bad traffic!!  It was great.

You’re a day ahead of yourself, you know. BUT…actually, the Declaration of Independence wasn’t completely signed and made public on the 4th anyway, so what makes the difference!

    Have you been behaving well??????
