I’d love it if you would pray that these remaining 6 days of holiday time off would be filled with quiet, sweet time with Him. I’m trying to focus on what He’s taught me this past year and what scripture He’d like me to focus on next year. There are two areas in my life I can’t seem to remain obedient in.. my weight/exercise and being fiscally frugal with what He has blessed me with. Thanks for asking Marla.. you have blessed me this morning!

Please pray for my husbands physical healing. He has a condition that the doctors say there is no cure for it, but I believe there is nothing impossible for GOD.

A healthy baby…

I would love for you to pray for my husband Rick to secure a job soon He has been out of work for 3 months now. I am also trying to get back into the educational field as a teacher’s assistant or substitute. My son, Josh, whose girlfriend’s is pregnant also needs a job, as she is no longer working due to the pregnancy. One last thing, since you asked we would love to be able to move out of my parents’ house and have a place of our own. Thanks!

Much physical pain…..

An end to our journey to have a family, It’s been a long and painful journey…and we’re growing very tired. Emotionally we feel like we’re at our wits end.

A job for my husband and also his relationship with Jesus, he struggles so much and it puts such strain on our family. Wisdom for me.

I am in need of prayer in a few areas…I am speaking for hte first time next month and the enemy has been trying to convince me that I do not have anything important to say and that people do not need or wan to hear my testimony. It has been a deterent in my preparations. Also, for my kids…restoration of things lost though our life storms which they had to just come along for the ride. For finances…I am a single mom trying to survive off child support and a few substitute jobs…hoping to speak more and write but feeling unsure…I am the head of my household and I am not doing my job well of providing. Thank you for taking the time to pray for others…Can I pray for you for anything specific?

My cousin, Molly – she is struggling in her relationship with the Lord. I’m not at liberty to share more but I ask that you pray for her.

lots of unexpected expenses, and Ben needs a job, he’s got an interview on the 17th. thank you so much for offering your time on our behalf!

Three things I’d be grateful for prayer:
1. My dad has just sold the last of his farm land at a price that won’t clear their debt, let alone give them decent retirement. He worked hard all his life and prospered, and had to retire in this economy. He is so faithful, but sounded so defeated on the phone tonight.
2. My pain has increased steadily as the weather has turned colder… I’d appreciate a prayer for fortitude.
3. I am really used to being alone, but having no one here to celebrate Christmas with was harder than I thought it would be. I’m praying I learn to appreciate the solitude more than dread it.

Hello, I saw your newer post above this one and will be praying for you.
But I did have a request. I’m currently a full-time graduate student and my husband is working two full-time jobs. We’re barely able to make ends meet at this point. My husband is such a trooper, working 7 days a week straight (no days off) with no complaint. Can you pray that our financial situation will improve in the coming months (and that I can learn to worry a little less about it as I know it will work out, somehow)? Thanks Marla!
