the good, the bad, the bittersweet

The good: the MOPS retreat was awesome this morning. Getting up at 4:55 and spending six hours in the car? Not so fun. BUT the Mentor gals are some of my FAVORITES, and we had such a short, but sweet, time together. And the trees on the way home? So bright, so stunning. I could barely take it. Praise you, Jesus!

The bad: it’s official. I’m sick. Bah.

The bittersweet: Livi just moved into her own room. All 3 girls have shared a room for the past 2 years, and I loved it. This is going to work out sooo much better for everyone, but I’m still feeling a little sniffy about it. They just went to bed, and Livi’s up there talking to her sisters across the hall. And Nina just yelled for a drink of water. Livi said she’d take it to her. This is making me smile.

The good: God has brought us through some rough, rough spots this week. He is so good.

Thanks for praying for me! Germ-free cyber hugs all around!

Oh my word, I was going to say the exact same thing as Bethany – that reading your blog made me think of the Full House episode with DJ charting out the reasons she should have her own room. Hehe!

Does it make me absolutely ridiculous that I’ve already cried at least once thinking about how fast my little one is going to grow up, and I’m only 26 weeks pregnant with her? Maybe, maybe not.

I hate that you’re sick! Praying that you’ll feel better!

I bet the trees are absolutely gorgeous there this time of year, so thankful you could ‘soak’ in His beauty today.
I will be praying for you to feel MUCH better VERY soon!
    Blessings today and always,
    Matthew 21:22

Aw, that’s so fun for Livi! Did she decorate it? Was this her idea? I’m picturing a Full House episode where DJ calls a family meeting and has charts explaining why she should have her own room. Did it go something like that? 😉

Awww….Livi is in the room that baby Kain slept in when we were there? 🙁 What fun for her though.
    I’m sorry you’re sick.

I’m so glad that I got to see you and your beautiful family tonight. And your girls make me want to have another daughter. Sisters make life so, so good.

Get some rest and get better. I’m wondering if you were alone and felt sick all the way home. I am thanking the Lord that you made it home safely.
