A couple days ago, a different title popped into my head for this homecoming post: home (bitter) sweet home. But it just didn’t fit this morning. This being home stuff feels too right. I know from experience that it’s probably just the high from our trip. Ask me in a couple days how I’m feeling, and I’ll likely bite your head off. I’ll be moping and crying and pining for Texas.

But for now I’ll just enjoy the sweet.

And sweet it is. Am I really sitting at my kitchen table on a beautiful spring morning, back door open, breeze blowing, birds chirping, drinking coffee (me, not the birds), praising Jesus?

Pinch, pinch.

It is good to be home. So good. Bless each and every one of you for being part of our adventure. You make my insides warm and fuzzy. We love you!

Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare. (Psalm 40:5)

Pictures coming (and coming and coming) soon! Check back later this afternoon!

You are home – safely! Praise God. LOVED following your journey through your blog and tweets. See ya Sunday. Oh, and praying for your hubs. Get well! And you don’t get sick, now, ya’here.

Glad you’re home! It really was great having you in our home – Jim just noticed the Scrabble letters last night…

Next time I’ll be home, we’ll find a Mexican restaurant with a loud Mariachi band…and grill something awesome in the back yard. Consider the Sunflower home your all-access vacation spot!
