Livi has been begging to get her hair cut for quite awhile now. Today was the day! Everyone seems to have a hard time cutting her hair because it’s super thick and has this quirky wave going on. She used to have really curly hair. When she was 3 or 4, she had long ringlets almost down to her waist. We cut 11 inches or so off, and the curls never came back. Her new ‘do looks calm in the picture, but cameras lie. I think it’s super cute though–and she loves it. After she got it cut tonight, she was simply beaming. “You like it?” I asked. “I just can’t stop smiling,” she said. As I type, she’s lying in bed wide awake from the newness and excitement of it all.
Big praise! Our realtor called today. There’s a young couple very, very interested in our house. They’re going back through it on Tuesday. Please pray!
Pics and stories of Ava and Nina coming next week–poor little things haven’t been getting much xanga action lately.
Last Thursday, Gabe came home from work at noon, so we could go pick up his car (finally!) from the shop. We pile in the van and take Livi to the bus stop. Sophie comes up to the window, and Gabe says, “You dropped your pocket!” She glances down at her pants, then at the ground, then back up at Gabe, mystified, then gets the joke and laughs. Walks away and J.J. comes up to the van. Gabe does the same thing to her. Exact same reaction as Sophie. Then Cameron. Same. It was too funny. You might’ve had to have been there, I guess.
Anyway, tonight he told Livi, “You dropped your hair.” And she looked.
