tit for tat

Don’t have time for much tonight. Just wanted to share a little funny…

Last Friday (St. Patty’s Day), my fh (fabulous hubby) got a vasectomy. It would have cost us $650, but wouldn’t you know it, the doctor needs a web site. So he and Gabe are trading even up. Who woulda guessed we’d be bartering over something like this? You cut, tie, and sear my vas deferens, and I’ll see to it that your business is on the web! tmi?

The doc is coming over tomorrow morning to get started on his site. So, Gabe was talking to one of his buddies tonight on xbox live who dared him to start out tomorrow’s meeting with, “You want a web site? Drop your pants!”

I’ll let you know if he follows through…

Funny story!!  I’m loving the book too!  I’ve got some friends at work I might be purchasing some extra copies for.  My favorite story so far is the Texas hold em conversation – very reminiscent of some exchanges that me and my dh have had…

Well I’d love to meet you and your family! I was going to go to New York and the end of the year, but the person I was going to stay with plans changed so that’s not happening anymore 🙁

    1. That is truly bizarre but I did laugh….

    2. I love to fact your sister does huge comments! I love how close you two are. I have two older sisters and your relationship encourages me to be more supportive and loving with my sisters. Thanks!

This is how people used to do things in the old days, trading their goods/services for the goods/services of another! How fun! And what an awesome way God provided! (Even though the situation is slightly on the wierd/awkward side)

What time is your book signing at Cedarville on Tuesday? That should be a GREAT way to advertise! All those engaged couples getting married this summer will HAVE to buy your book!

Your friend kstave, has a blogspot on the same website as Stew’s! It’s http://www.thestewbrew.blogspot.com!! He hasn’t updated in like 6 months, but you should check it out!

Have you taken the quiz to see what kind of coffee you are?? (see my xanga) I know it’s silly, but some of those are kinda fun/interesting to fill out! I love you!

hi! thanks for commenting about the charlotte hornets on my site! 🙂 After no one else did, I thought maybe I imagined everything about the hornets being a fad.

…also, your story was funny. It made me laugh. 🙂

…and I intend to read your book…it sounds great! 🙂

…one more thing…I’m having blah hair, too, and I’m amazed at the post baby pooch. I can’t believe how different my belly is…it’s so loooose. bleh.

have a good day! 🙂 It’s nice to “meet” you. 🙂

Marla, you’re HILARIOUS!! It’s crazy to think that you guys are permanently done with kids at 30 & here I am at 31 having just begun. I guess it’s not so bad…one of my dearest childhood friends already has a 10 year old – THAT is hard to get my brain around! Goes to show that God’s timing is different for everyone, right? And I’m not complaining – I couldn’t be happier with our precious 6-month old Ieva! And by the way, I’m LOVING the book! 😉 love, kim
