I was thinking about my brother and sisters today–and their spouses/spouse-to-be–and I couldn’t help but feel a warm-and-fuzzy blessed sort of feeling.
My brother Josh and his wife Jessica are pretty special. They spend lots of time and energy helping people who need them and making sacrifices to further God’s kingdom. They have 2 adorable children, Anna and Ethan. I could listen to Anna talk for hours, and I could watch Ethan be goofy for hours. Baby #3 is due in May, and I can’t wait to see what he/she is like! I love getting together with them, even though we don’t do it often enough.
My sister Bethany and her husband Stewart also devote lots and lots of time to others. Stewart cracks me up with his airplanes and e-bay debacles. And I want to dress like Bethany when I get skinny again (which is taking waaaaaaay longer after this baby than with the other 2). They are quite a couple–also pretty special.
My sister Stephanie and her almost-husband Daniel are sweet and cute and fun to be around. They’re on a missions trip to the Bahamas right now. I can’t wait to go on missions trips once our girls are older. I am excited for Steph to be married like the rest of us. And happy that we are good friends now that we’re both older and more mature. She actually may be more mature than me.
Josh, Stewart and Daniel are all youth pastors–and great at what they do. And Jess, Bethany, and Steph are all beautiful and fabulous.
I am proud of my family.
