happy MLK day!

I’ll be out-of-town tomorrow (well, later today I guess, since it’s after midnight–took my big Sunday nap though, so it’s okay) visiting part of my super-cool family. Mom, Bethany, and I are meeting at Josh and Jess’s at 10ish and hanging out for a few hours of food, fun, and fellowship. So, I’ll catch y’all on Tuesday.

My new website is live. Too bad it’s not finished. 🙂 Gabe re-designed it in Joomla, a program that enables me to update the site myself. This is completely amazing to me. I can’t even upload my own xanga pics. I’ll let you know when the site is finished.

Please see the updates on Barb below. We had a really powerful service today at church–about healing and the amazing stuff Jesus did and our tendency to brush it all off as “stuff that doesn’t happen today.” More thoughts on that later.

Our weekend was okay. We decided to eat out Friday night despite all our get-out-of-debt hoopla, but then Livi’s stomach hurt, so we didn’t. (thought for sure it was the stomach flu, but she was fine the next day) Then we were supposed to go to friends’ house for pizza Saturday night, but they were sick. We haven’t done much of anything fun in a long time. Soon. Well, tomorrow will be fun.

Speaking of tomorrow, if I’m going to leave at 8:30 for a nice little car ride, I should probably hit the sack. Have a great start to your (work) week!

your new website is great!!  So glad  you are all over that horrible sickness!! I don’t get a chance to comment on your site as often as I would like, but I have been keeping up with you all and praying for you!!

Hey Marla~We’re doing the Dave Ramsey Total Money Makeover as well.  Funny thing is Brian bought the book but I’m the one who read it.  He listens to his radio program regularly though so it was probably more important for me to read it.  Anyways . . . have you made up your budget yet?  I put ours together a couple weeks ago and gave us $20/month for eating out.  That sure helped curtail going out to dinner so often (ok, so does having a 3-month old, but that’s another story) . . .

I am royally confused as to what time it is, what time you are writing, and when “tomorrow” is.  Maybe you should start posting reading levels on your posts so I know when the content will be above me.    Guess it’s just pregnancy brain or something!

Have a great time with your family…take pics and let us know how it goes when you get back!

Scripture promises us that God can do all… He can and will heal. IF it is within His will. His ‘big picture’ is a lot bigger than ours! BUT – – – healing through answered prayer HAPPENS!

Praying. Enjoy your day. I’m jealous.
