Happy Birthday, Ava!

My middle princess is FOUR today. Unbelievable. I remember the day of her birth like it was yesterday. It was truly the best day of my life. Livi’s and Nina’s birth-days and our wedding day all tie for second. I’ll share the story sometime when I have nothing else to do…

Three hubby surveys turned in…two more promised. I’d love to get surveys from some xanga hubbies (and almost-hubbies)…Matt, Stephen, Jon, Stew, Scott, Nate…to name a few.

Big day today–two birthday parties, two house showings. Fun times.

I’m enjoying getting to know our neighbors. I’m such a loser, waiting until we’re about to move to develop relationships. I won’t make the same mistake again.

Gabe took Ava on a birthday date this evening. They walked to the park, the creek, and dairy queen. She was in heaven. Livi and Nina and I went to Wal-Mart to finish up Ava’s b-day shopping.

I’m pooped. Off to bed I go for 4.5 hours of sleep!

Okay, obviously I’m going to have to explain why Ava’s b-day trumps our wedding day on my list of best days ever. Tonight after the little ones are in bed, I’ll share my explanation.

Ava’s birthday comes in first over our wedding day? Maybe that day was more horrific than I thought it was? I am guessing this explanation is going to be either very creative or very impressive…..

    Happy b-day, cutie!
DD1 declared that Ava would be 3 and have a chocolate cake just like she’s having. Her party’s the same as our class party.
I’m with you on relationship building. It was like pulling teeth for my mom to get me to invite people to do things. I still don’t invite people ’cause I don’t want to impose (or subject them to my dirty house), but when they invite me I try to take advantage of the opportunity for a social life!

Happy birthday Beautiful Ava! I’m so glad that your mommy and daddy have you!!!

I’ll try harder to get Scott to take the survey. And, yes, those are my knees 🙂
