What a great weekend. We spent Saturday with Gabe’s mom and dad, brother and sister-in-law, 2 nieces and nephew. All at our place. Watched the Buckeyes game–boooooring–ate pizza, gave 5 girls a bath in one tub (have pics to prove it!)… Good times.

Sunday was church–good message, made me think, made me thankful.

Today, my family came for the day–my mom and dad, my brother and sis-in-law, their three little ones, my two sisters and their husbands. Played outside, flew remote-controlled airplanes, made homemade ice cream, had an Auntie Anne’s pretzel bake-off, ate lasagna and other yummy stuff, caught up on everybody’s lives. Good times.

I’m really thankful for family.

My baby goes to school tomorrow. My other baby drank her 2nd bottle of formula today. If I think about either of these things for too long, I get emotional. Oh, and the Crocodile Hunter died. 🙁 He was only 44.

I feel pensive.

I took my oldest to preschool orientation today. I thought it would be fun and exciting. It was…for him. I left feeling 10 thousand different kinds of emotions. Why are these milestones so hard for us moms?

I had SOOOO much fun today! You are such a great hostess! And thank you SOOOO much for the clothes and the giraffe!

We definitely need to have another get-together before Thanksgiving. Your place is oh so fun!

I forgot to get a schedule of Livi’s soccer games. I want to try and go to a Monday night game and maybe come for the day or something. How does that sound?

Families are great – I miss mine 🙁  But I am thankful for the my brothers and sisters in Christ who are my other fmaily here in Australia.  Plus I get on well with Scoot’s family so that is great.  But I miss my Mum, Dad, sisters and all my fmaily in England.

Very sad about Steve Irwin, Australia is mourning a Aussie Icon 🙁

That Family Get-Together sounds very American…making homemade icecream, pretzel bake-off…however, we ALL have pictures of us as children in the bath with lots of other children, my father makes and flies model aeroplanes (he also flies real ones!) and we eat lasagna too……so not too disimilar.

You sound like you have a huge and wonderful family! So many blessings…
