da bugz knowz whassup!

Oh my word. Did I seriously just type that title?? And not delete it?? Who do I think I am?? Whatever street cred I had just catapulted out the window.

What I mean to say is that Gabe took some pictures tonight while on a little walk in the woods, and they just screamed, “Give God glory!!”

I mean, wow, when you look at the intricate details of these tiny BUGS, it just kind of makes your jaw drop to think how intricate WE are and how amazing GOD is. Wowzers.

Praise the Lord from the earth, Psalm 148 says, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths… wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds… Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.

And I was reading through Radical tonight (so pumped about our Read-Along! praying God gets SO MUCH GLORY!) and something (one of many things) on page 31 made me say ouch.

“Everything in all creation responds in obedience to the Creator… until we get to you and me. We have the audacity to look God in the face and say, ‘No.'”

Here’s to saying yes to God!

Where have you seen God’s glory already today?

Love the bug pics…I am ALWAYS amazed by their intricacies…esp. dragonflies and their eyes! We were up near your stompin’ grounds and visited Ohio Caverns the other day and were AMAZED by God’s creation there. I even LOVED the bats…which is weird. Also..God’s glory…He gave me a reminder of a dr. appt. for my kiddo…otherwise I totally would have missed it today. He’s in the details! Love Him!

Marla~ I started reading Radical this weekend, and couldn’t wait to post! I know the read-along hasn’t started yet, but my mind is awhirl from reading the first chapter and a half! Can’t wait to discuss it, to be changed, to have other women (and men?) who commit to be radical! So, if you haven’t gotten the book yet, GET IT! START READING! You won’t regret it! It might (WILL, NO DOUBT) change your life from mundane to beyond boundaries!

It’s not even 9am and already I have seen God’s glory in . . . my children . . . the many areas of conviction while reading Money, Possessions, and Eternity . . . the American Flag blowing outside my window . . . the breeze . . . my husband’s kiss (that he gives me everyday before he leaves for work although it never feels routine) . . . the abundance of food we had to choose from for breakfast . . . Romans 12:2 that sat deep in my soul as I read it over and over again . . .

I can hardly wait to see what else is in store for us today.
