I’m going away for a bit. I need to deal with some of my stuff. My heart and mind are a little sore. I need to do some re-focusing, prioritizing, heart-cleaning. And my girlies have spring break next week, and they need their mama.
I love you all, I’ll be praying for you while I’m away, and we’re still on for Xanga Fest (April 7-8).
If God brings me to your mind at any time, I’d love it if you’d pray for me. If you need to get in touch with me, you can e-mail me through our website.
I know Isaac Watts doesn’t know me, but he nailed me with these Spirit-breathed words of his. This is my prayer today:
When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of glory died
My richest gain I count but loss
And pour contempt on all my pride.
Forbid it Lord that I should boast
Save in the death of Christ my God
All the vain things that charm me most
I sacrifice them to His blood.
See, from His head, His hands, His feet
Sorrow and love flow mingled down
Did e’er such love and sorrow meet
Or thorns compose so rich a crown.
Were the whole realm of nature mine
That were an offering far too small
Love so amazing, so divine
Demand my soul, my life, my all.
Thank You, Jesus! I love you.
See you soon! You’re blessings, all of you.
