Only have a couple minutes before we head to Svay Pak (more about that later). Just wanted to give you a little glimpse of what we see each day from our tuk-tuk. Speaking of tuk-tuk, we were out the other day and “ran into” Quenie, who owns our guest house with her husband Narin. She was headed to the bus station to get tickets for Thailand to renew their visas (she’s from the Philippines).
The view from the roof of the Boys’ Center. Lots of clothes hanging up to dry.
Lots of monks out and about all around the city. From what I can tell, there are three different colors of robes. This reddish color, an orange-ish one, and one that’s more yellow. Not sure if they mean something different or if they dress for the day according to their mood.
Lots of power lines everywhere. Makes me a little nervous for the guys who have to work with them.
More pics to come! Always more pics. Lots and lots and lots of pics. Doing our best to be subtle, never obnoxious. Sharing the beauty (and the not-so-beauty) of Cambodia, but in a way that preserves the dignity of the people who call it home. Please continue to pray for us in all of our interactions with these amazing men, women, and children. So far so good. God is so faithful.
