prayer chain {day 3 of 31}

Three days into this 31 days thing, and I’m already wiped.

If we’re Facebook friends, you might have witnessed Monday’s Boots Fiasco (not really a fiasco, but it ended up consuming my entire day–the good news? money for Cambodia!).

And then I spent all day Tuesday with my mom, dad, grandpa, sis, brother-in-law, sis-in-law, nieces and nephews (and my own fam, including Atlas). Such a great day.

And watched two hours of Half the Sky both nights. So, so good. (Did you see it??)

And the rest of the week doesn’t appear to be slowing down.

I want to take a deep breath. And just spend some time talking to God. I have a couple small miracles I’m asking him for. And I’d love to take some of your requests to him too.

If you have a prayer need that’s personal, e-mail me. If you have one you don’t mind sharing in the comments, do that, and we’ll gather some people to pray for you.

Blessings on your day, friends.

We are moving Saturday (it was up-in-the-air until yesterday). We have plenty to do, and we have the flu (respiratory). I’d really appreciate prayer. God has already answered the prayers of our house selling…We know He will give us strength. Thanks Marla!

Praying for all those needs already shared, believing God will pour healing into hurting places and will meet the needs according to His riches in glory.

I’d ask for prayer for healing from fibromyalgia that’s causing daily pain in my body.

Also, I’m asking for prayer for this year’s Sunshine Christmas project for the gifts for orphans in Ukraine. I’m sharing with our church at the end of the month, and I’m super nervous about what to say, so I need grace and peace for that. And please pray that the kids are super-crazy-blessed and relationships are formed between kids who need adult love and encouragement and the gift-givers who connect with them, that the Lord would bless the socks off those kids in every way. In years past we’ve done one family per child, and this year our pastor is hoping we can have multiple families per child, which is SO COOL!!! These are the only gifts these kids open at Christmas, and they are SO Jesus-in-disguise. So please pray about this. Marla, thank you for being part of blessing these kids last year! Ilia loved what you sent, and it’s so cool that she lives 3 houses away from us now! God’s plans are surprising and so awesome! (because she and her family are not in Ukraine anymore, they aren’t part of the Sunshine project, but they still have so much need – please pray we can figure out a way to bless them at Christmas without them feeling like part of a charity, like they would if they were part of the Sunshine project at church, since all 8 of them are at my church now.)

Thank you so much! If you decide you’d like to help generate some blessings for Ilia’s family here in the States, that could be so cool! And shipping would be not a big deal, unlike sending goodies overseas. Last year we included them, even though they were in Atlanta, but now that they’re in my church family, I haven’t been sure how to “covertly” work alongside some folks to bless them without them knowing and/or feeling conspicuous. But there are 8 people in their family, and it would be fun and awesome to bless them this Christmas. They’re seeing the Lord’s faithfulness all over the place, and I appreciate your heart for her and her family so much. And for the Sunshine kids! I can let you know after the church presentation if there are certain Sunshine kids who need another gift-giving family, and you can tell me what you think. Thanks a million 🙂

Menstrual migraines – every single month for a long while now. Today I’m so weary.

A 16 year old friend with a new medical diagnosis that is not necessarily easy to fix, on top of numerous medical diagnosis, and her worn out family.

Friends who are hurting over choices made by a child.

A child hurting here in this city because of a choice made by an adult in their life.

Thank you. I will pray for you too.

Marla, I’ve been using my night nursing sessions with little guy as a prayer time. I’m going to add in the prayer requests that I see left here.

We really really need 2 things – some breathing room, and a 15 passenger van . . . Like whoa we need one – way too many kids and activities and driving multiple trips in multiple cars. . .
