excited for tomorrow!! {day 9 of 31}

Last Wednesday, Gabe, the girls, and I headed to Beacon of Hope bookstore in Springfield, Ohio to do a live taping of Moody Radio’s Midday Connection. A gal named Shelley Lopez and I were the guests, and Anita Lustrea and Melinda Schmidt were the wonderful hosts.

I’m super-excited (and a wee bit nervous) to listen to the program tomorrow (Wednesday, October 10 @1:00pm EST). I might have maybe shared some stuff that was pretty personal. BUT. I’m confident God will use it for his glory. AND. I got to talk about Cambodia. So, so thankful.

Here are some pics of the event (compliments of Beacon of Hope). Notice my girls in their front, front row seats (aka, the floor). Don’t they look THRILLED? (Ava admitted that she saw the camera woman and acted like she was paying attention.)

You can listen to tomorrow’s program live online or on a Christian radio station (that carries it) near you. 1:00pm. See you there!

p.s. The Blessed tee is a shout-out to my sweet friend, Jackie, and her fun Dress Blessed line of clothing. Mention my name when you buy a tee or hoodie, and Jackie will give a chunk of your purchase price to CAMBODIA. Woot!

    Marla, I was very blessed to have heard you today on Midday Connection. I have been considering mission trip in another country next year for the very first time and after listening to you my hope is that it won’t be the last trip I take. Cambodia could be my next.
    I praise you for what you are doing in the lives of the children you are helping.

    Thanks for sharing on Midday Connection where I then came to check out your website. I’m so happy to hear an emphasis for the poor from you and can’t wait to check out your books. MANY blessings on your family and ministry.

    You and your girls are so beautiful! I love that they get to go with you and see your ministry in action. What a legacy your faithfulness will be to them in the years to come!

    Marla, have I mentioned that you are bad for my wallet??? I LOVE your shirt! It is so stinkin’ pretty, and, of course, a wonderful word to have displayed on yourself to remind us of how blessed we are. Though I never know what size to order when ordering online. I love the pic of the girls! Nina looks so grown up! I’m gonna do my best to listen to the program tomorrow.

      You HAVE mentioned that, friend, and I’m ALMOST sorry. But you’ve been SUCH A HUGE BLESSING to me ever since we met. Please don’t stop letting God use you (and your wallet)!! xoxoxoxo
